பெயருக்கு ஏற்ப இது கை , கால் மற்றும் வாயில் சிறு சிறு கொப்புளங்களை ஏற்படுத்தும். காய்ச்சல் மிதமாக இருக்கும். கொப்புளம் ஒரு குழுவாக காணப்படும். உள்ளங்கால் மற்றும் உள்ளங்கையில் சிவந்த கொப்புளமாகவும் மற்ற இடங்களில் தோலின் நிறத்தோடும் காணப்படும்.

பொதுவாக HFMD என்பது தானாகவே சரியாகிவிடும் வைரஸ் தொற்றுதான்.எனவே இது குறித்து பயம்கொள்ளத்தேவையில்லை .ஆனால் காய்ச்சல் குறையாமல் இருந்தாலோ , மூச்சு விட சிரமம் இருந்தாலோ மருத்துவரை மீண்டும் சந்திக்கவேண்டும்.
மருத்துவம்: சிலர் இந்த கொப்புளங்களை பார்த்தவுடன் பயந்துபோய் அம்மையாக இருக்குமோ என்று எண்ணி தேவையற்ற சிகிச்சைமுறைகளை செய்வார்கள்.அது தேவையில்லை. உங்கள் குழந்தை நல மருத்துவரிடம் அழைத்து சென்றால் வாய்ப்புண்ணுக்கு தனி மருந்தும் கைகால் கொப்புளத்திற்கு தனி மருந்தும் தருவார்.அதை பயன்படுத்திவர 3 முதல் 5 நாட்களில் குணம் தெரியும். கொப்புளங்கள் அமுங்கி மறைந்தவுடன் சிறு சிறு கறுப்பு புள்ளிகள் சில நாட்கள் காணப்படும் பின் அதுவும் மறைந்து போகும்.
